This page will show how to enter names and addresses for
- a shower invitation envelope
- the wedding invitation envelope
- a place card
- a thank you card envelope
Through the use of categories LabelEase automatically
maintains address lists for the shower, the wedding, the
place card and the thank you card. Each list can be
retrieved and printed with a few key stokes.
When LabelEase is first installed it contains 9 example
addresses. Click

see how to delete these addresses.
Prepare to enter an address by
opening the address
entry form
This example will use this fictitious address.

Enter the
shower invitation address.
With the shower address still in the Address Editor form
enter the wedding invitation address. This can be done
with only a little editing, in this case adding Bill and
changing the category to "wedding".
Note: If the Address Editor form is
unintentional closed, it can opened again with the Johnson
address in it by entering "Johnson" in the Name box on the
Home form. Then double click the Johnson address in
the Search Results Grid.
Enter the
wedding invitation address.
With the wedding address in the Address Editor form
create a place card name by deleting everything in the
address but the name.
Create a place
card name.
With very little time and effort addresses have been
created for shower, wedding and a name for the place cards.
Close the Address Editor form.
The
Johnson's
addresses should be visible in the "Search Result Grid"
on the LabelEase Home form. If not, click "Show all
addresses".
At this point experiment
retrieving an address using a category. Entering
"show" retrieves all shower addresses. Entering "wedd"
retrieves all wedding addresses and entering "place card"
retrieves place card names.
The addresses can now be dragged and dropped on to shower
invitation envelopes, wedding invitation envelopes and place
cards.
An address
can have multiple categories. This is useful, when
for example an unmarried friend of the bride is invited to
the shower and to the wedding.
Thank you cards will be handled later.
