Postcard Address Printing Software: Sheet
I've also created a
video demo showing how
to print addresses directly on postcards.
Method 2 prints addresses on a postcard sheet containing
4 postcards. This method has advantages and
disadvantages. The advantage is that four "To"
addresses are printed with on pass through the printer.
However the disadvantage is that a second pass through the
printer is required to print the return addresses.
The steps required to print addresses on postcard sheets
are:
-
Retrieve the postcard form from templates.
-
Open the
postcard in the display panel.
-
Retrieve an address list. Through the use of
categories LabelEase maintains multiple address
lists. When an address is created or imported it is
assigned a category. Retrieve a list of addresses by
entering a category in the category search box. In this
case I'll use a category of "Wedding".
- Drag and Drop the addresses to the postcard sheet
using the right mouse button.
- Note the number of addresses being printed. This
will be required later.
- Click Print. LabelEase prints the postcards
containing To addresses.
- Remove and reposition the postcards in the printer
ready for the second pass.
-
Retrieve the postcard sheet named Postcard_From from
templates.
-
Retrieve a return address.
- Drag and drop the return address to the first From
Box on the postcard sheet.
- Right click the From Box and from the popup menu
select "Put this address on to many labels".
- Enter the quantity of addresses being printed; the
number from step 5 above.
-
LabelEase populates the required number of From Boxes
creating additional sheets as required.
- Click Print to print the return addresses.
Addresses can be imported
into LabelEase. LabelEase will import addresses
from Excel, import addresses from Outlook, import addresses
from a CSV file or import addresses from a tab delimited
file. Extensive help on how to import addresses exists
in LabelEase Help. If your addresses are in the
Microsoft Address Book,
export
the Microsoft Address Book to a CSV file and then import
them into LabelEase
The Postcard_To and Postcard_From
definitions can be
changed. Right click the desired item and select
Edit from the popup menu.
