Address Printing Software

Postcard Address Printing Software: Single

I've also created a video demo showing how to print addresses directly on postcards.

The steps required to print addresses on postcards are:

  1. Retrieve the postcard from templates.
  2. Open the postcard in the display panel.
  3. Retrieve addresses from the address list.  Through the use of categories LabelEase maintains multiple address lists.  When an address is created or imported it is assigned a category.  Retrieve a list of addresses by entering a category in the category search box.  In this case I'll use a category of "Wedding".
  4. Drag and Drop the addresses to the postcard using the right mouse button.
  5. Retrieve a return address from the address list.
  6. Drag and Drop the return address to the postcard From Box.
  7. Right-click the return address and from the popup menu select  "Set return address on each envelope to this address".
  8. Click Print to print the addresses on to the postcards.
  9. Several LabelEase customers in the antique business are using LabelEase to print postcards with address lists containing 1,500 addresses.  This by no means the maximum capability.

Addresses can be imported into LabelEase.  LabelEase will import addresses from Excel, import addresses from Outlook,  import addresses from a CSV file or import addresses from a tab delimited file.  Extensive help on how to import addresses exists in LabelEase Help.  If your addresses are in the Microsoft Address Book, export the Microsoft Address Book to a CSV file and then import them into LabelEase

LabelEase will print addresses on postcards of any size.  LabelEase manages postcards just like envelopes.  Below is a description of how to create an envelope.  Use this description to assist in the creation of a new postcard.

The following steps explain how to create an envelope.

  1. Open the Envelope Designer Form
  2. Set the envelope size, landscape and barcode mode. The width of an envelope is measured parallel to the text printed on the envelope.
  3. Leave the envelope borders at 0.
  4. Set font name, style and size.  Choose any size font.  LabelEase will reduce the font of each individual address until the address fits on the envelope.
  5. From the properties that have been set LabelEase creates and positions automatically the "To Box" and the "From Box" on the envelope.  This is done according to US Post Office specification.
  6. Save the envelope.
  7. The newly saved envelope can now be opened and used to print addresses.
  8. Click Print to print the address on the envelope.

Any number of postcard definitions can be created and saved.

The LabelEase address list can be copied to a central location and used by multiple users.  Lots of features exist inside LabelEase that make envelope printing, postcard printing easy.
