Printing Addresses on Flyers

LabelEase will print addresses on flyers. This page shows how to print addresses on flyers thereby avoiding the extra time and money required to print addresses on labels.

Extensive help on how to print addresses on flyers exists in LabelEase Help.

I've also create a demo video that shows how easy printing addresses on flyers is in Labelease.

The steps required to print addresses on flyers are:

  1. On the LabelEase Home form, select a flyer type.  Flyer type simply means which panel on a 3 panel flyer gets the address.  This image explains flyer types.  Select the flyer type that suits your flyer layout.  See below on how to create a new flyer type.
  2. The flyer appears in the Envelopes Box. Click it to open the flyer
  3. Retrieve addresses from the address list database.  Long lists of addresses can be retrieved by using the Category feature of LabelEase.  Categories also enable multiple address lists in LabelEase.
  4. Drag and drop the addresses to the To Box of the flyer.  If more than 1 address is dropped on the To Box LabelEase creates the required flyer pages automatically.
  5. Put the return address on the flyer.  Red lines in the Return Box mean the text is too small to read.  To view the address double click the From Box.
  6. Click Print to print the addresses on flyers.

Addresses can be imported into LabelEase.  LabelEase will import addresses from Excel, import addresses from Outlook,  import addresses from a CSV file or import addresses from a tab delimited file.  Extensive help on how to import addresses exists in LabelEase Help. If your addresses are in the Microsoft Address Book, export the Microsoft Address Book to a CSV file and then import them into LabelEase

The following steps explain how to create an new flyer.

  1. Open the Envelope Designer Form.  Because envelopes and flyers are similar, LabelEase uses the Envelope Designer form to create and edit flyers.
  2. Set the flyer size, landscape and barcode mode.
  3. Set the page margins.  For a 2 fold bottom type flyer set the top margin to 7.33 inches and leave all other margins set to 0.  For a single fold bottom type flyer set the top margin to 5.5 inches.  (11 / 2)
  4. Set font name, style and size
  5. From the properties that have been set LabelEase creates and positions automatically the "To Box" and the "From Box" on the flyer.
  6. Save the flyer.
  7. The newly saved flyer can now be opened and used to print addresses.
  8. Click Print to print the address on the flyer.
  9. After the flyer has been create it can be changed by right clicking the flyer in the envelope box.

Any number of flyers can be created and saved.

The LabelEase address list can be copied to a central location and used by multiple users.  Lots of features exist inside LabelEase facilitating easy flyer addressing.
