FAQs
I can’t get the drag and drop function to work. What am I doing wrong?
Labelease uses the right mouse button for this function. Before you can perform this function, the address(es) must be highlighted. To highlight a single address, simply place your curser on it and left click with your mouse. If you wish to select more than one address, hold the left click button down while you move the curser down the address list. Once you have highlighted the desired address(es), press the right click button, and hold it down while you drag the address on the appropriate label. Release the button.
What do the red lines on the label page mean?
Red lines indicate where on your label page your address will be printed. If you want to view the actual address, place the curser on the red lines and double click with the left mouse button. The address will appear in a window. Single click to close the window.
How do I use the same return address on all of the envelopes I wish to print?
To do this, open your envelope, drag & drop the appropriate addresses in the To Box. Select the return address, drag & drop it in the From Box. Now right click on the return address and select “Set return address on each envelope to this address”. The return address will automatically be placed on all envelopes.
How do I edit my addresses?
Editing is easy. Simply highlight the address you wish to edit in the Search Results grid. Right click and a drop-down box will appear. Select Edit.
How many categories can each address have?
An address can have multiple categories, virtually as many as is required.
When I change and save the font size, Labelease still prints with a font that is too small.
Labelease is designed to automatically adjust the font size to fit the label or envelope being used. If the address is too big, the font will be small. Font size can be increased in one of two ways:
1) Abbreviate as much as possible.
2) Use a bigger label size.
Why don't my addresses align correctly?
Printer accuracy can be improved by calibrating the printer. See Help, Address Alignment for details.
