Download LabelEase by
clicking this link . This downloads the file LabelEaseDwld.exe to
your computer. After the download, double clicking the file will begin
the installation process. Installation proceeds automatically. During
the installation you are asked to click various buttons.
LabelEase installation
LabelEase requires .NET Framework v2.0. (See below). Most
computers already have .Net 2.0 installed
If .NET Framework v2.0 is not on your computer LabelEase will
automatically download it from Microsoft and install it. For this reason
it is important that LabelEase be granted access to the internet.
If .Net 2.0 is already present on your computer then LabelEase will
install in approximately 20 seconds.
If .Net 2.0 is not present the installation will be longer. Be patient.
The installation has been extensively tested and takes approximately 3 -
5 minutes. On occasion (not always) a message pops up stating that the
installation is taking longer than expected. Be patient ... .Net
2.0 it is being installed.
After .Net 2.0 is installed the installation of LabelEase continues
automatically.
After a successful installation start LabelEase from the icon that
appears on the desktop.
About .NET Framework v2.0
The .Net framework has been around
since approximately 2001. It is the basic elements (plumbing) that
programs require to run. You can check manually for the presence of the
Framework on your computer by selecting the Start button, the Control
Panel, select Add/Remove Programs. Look for "Microsoft .NET Framework
2.0" in the Currently installed programs list.
LabelEase will not run on .NET v1.1. You must have .NET v2.0.
